What do we do?
Here at Follow my Lead we ensure that your dog has the best day ever! We provide a home from home experience and treat them as if they are our own. We provide a safe and secure environment for them to enjoy their day. They get to play, have fun, make best friends and then go home relaxed and happy.
Every dog must pass a thorough assessment before becoming a member of our pack. This ensures the safety of all and enables them to play happily with like minded pups.

Set in Felsted, Dunmow, Stay n Play has a large purpose built indoor facility. We have separate areas for the dogs to play and then rest and enjoy their enrichment experience.
There is also a puppy area with soft play toys in a separate area for them to have some quiet time and be away from the older dogs
Our purpose built washroom is available for clients to book a wash and dry and is used to ensure our dogs go home without muddy paws!
Outside we have a large covered arena with tunnels, hay bales, paddling pools, toys and balls.
Our daycare field is securely fenced and a great space for the dogs to have a great run around, with tunnels and paddling pools during the summer months
A day in the life
Your dog will arrive early in the morning and will meet up with their friends. They will play and get plenty of exercise in our safe and secure arena. They can dig, play in the ballpit, splash around in the paddling pool and enjoy all the tugs and toys. We have tunnels and straw bales to gallivant around whilst being watched at all times by their carers. They also enjoy treats, puzzles or just a cuddle. We ensure each dog has a groom and health check daily. When you collect them, they go home happy and content.
Enrichment
Throughout the day we take dogs individually to play some enrichment. We use puzzles & scent work games whether it's hiding food for your pup to find or using a snuffle mat. This promotes a healthy balance of play, learning and stimulation.
Rest Period
During the afternoon all the dogs are encouraged to take time out from playing and to be calm and rest. We also encourage our clients to provide a Kong or something similar for when its time for the dogs to have some quiet time.
Group Play Session
Our play session are carefully arranged so that the dogs get to play with like minded dogs so that they can benefit from a safer social environment. This enhances the whole play experience, and our lower dog-to-staff ratio also offers individual attention and care.
Training
Throughout the day the carers interact with the dogs reinforcing their recall skills and teaching them to sit and wait patiently as we move them around different parts of the Day Care centre. For an extra charge we offer 1-2-1 training sessions with your dog reinforcing positive behaviour and dealing with any training concerns you have.

Our daycare offers a safe and fun environment for your dogs, ensuring they receive the attention and care they deserve while you’re away.
Grooming Services
We provide essential grooming services like ear cleaning and nail clipping to keep your furry friends looking and feeling their best during their stay.
Treats Available
We offer a selection of tasty treats and peanut butter for enrichment, ensuring your dog enjoys their time with us even more.

Puppy Daycare Specialists
We take dogs of all ages at our daycare but specialise in puppies because the importance of early socialisation cannot be under estimated.
At daycare, they mix with all breeds, sizes & ages, always monitored by our experienced team, leading to great social skills.
With the increase in dog numbers over the past few years, this is even more important today.
Our owners report that when they attend regularly, they are less interested in other dogs when out on walks, not attempting to go over and play.
Whilst at daycare, young dogs will be rested regularly and play for short periods with the pack. This routine helps teach relaxation & calmness when being broken from play. They are taken outside regularly to assist with toilet training.
All puppies participate in canine enrichment. This helps to stimulate brain function providing your puppy with ways to exercise his natural instincts in safe, appropriate, and fun ways. They will also receive body checks during their stay to ensure there are no issues. This is also beneficial when they attend grooming parlours or the vets to ensure they are happy being handled.
Owners will receive a personalised summary after every session, along with photos on our social media.
